His career as a physician began shortly after, and in 1999, he married Melissa Sue Kelly, with whom he built a family and a life centered around love and care for others.
Dr. Caccamo and his family moved to Maine in the early 2000s, where he opened his first medical practice in Fairfield before relocating it to Waterville. In 2004, he and his family settled in Oakland, where he continued to serve his patients with unwavering dedication. Known affectionately as “Doc,” he became a trusted healthcare provider who took the time to develop meaningful relationships with his patients, providing not only medical care but compassion and understanding.
Outside of his medical career, Dr. Caccamo was a devoted family man who enjoyed sharing elaborate meals with his loved ones. A passionate Pittsburgh Steelers fan, he often let the team’s performance set the tone for his week. When not working or watching football, Dr. Caccamo found peace at his camp, where he enjoyed hunting and fishing, activities that brought him closer to nature and provided an escape from the demands of his profession.
